On November 18, we at Georgia Underground Supply (GUS) were thrilled to host the Addison Economic Development team, including the Mayor, to celebrate our relocation and growth within the Addison community. Since moving from Carrollton to Addison in May 2023, we have been operating out of our newly acquired property and are proud to employ a team of 15 dedicated professionals. This visit highlighted our pivotal role in the utility construction industry, where we’re recognized as one of the largest wholesale suppliers for both overhead and underground construction needs.

At GUS, we specialize in providing essential materials for utility construction across various industries, including telephone, CATV, gas, electric, sewer, and water. Our extensive inventory includes HDPE and PVC pipes, handholes, fiber optic cables and supplies, tools and equipment, safety gear, and wear parts. Additionally, we’re proud to offer expertise in repairing and selling INNO splicing equipment—precision tools manufactured by a company headquartered in nearby Farmers Branch.

While we primarily serve wholesale clients, our doors are also open to the general public. We offer a wide selection of tools and supplies typically found in large retail outlets.

During the visit, our leadership team, including Matt Benhart and Jack Swearengin, had the opportunity to share our vision for continued growth in Addison. We’re committed to innovation, exceptional service, and strategic investments that not only strengthen the local economy but also align seamlessly with Addison’s mission to foster business success and community development.
