For more than 35 years, Georgia Underground Superstore has been proud to serve the crews who build, maintain, and connect America’s utility infrastructure. This year, we had the opportunity to celebrate that milestone the best way we know how: by bringing our customers, vendors, and industry experts together under one roof.
Our 35th Anniversary Utility Equipment Showcase in Addison, Texas was a chance to celebrate where GUS has been, see where the utility construction industry is headed, and spend time with the people who have helped make the past 35 years possible.
30+ Leading Industry Vendors Under One Roof
More than 30 top vendors from across the utility construction industry joined us in DFW, filling the showcase with products, equipment, new technology, and plenty of industry knowledge.
Customers had the opportunity to walk from booth to booth, see new products up close, talk directly with manufacturer representatives, and get inside knowledge about the equipment and tools they use on the job.
From HDD and aerial construction to fiber installation and contractor tools, the showcase brought some of the biggest names in the industry together in one place.
That was one of our biggest goals for the event. Instead of simply telling our customers what's new, we wanted to give them an opportunity to meet the manufacturers, ask their own questions, see the latest products, and have real conversations about the challenges their crews face in the field.
New Products, Industry Knowledge and Plenty of Gear
There was a lot to take home from this year's showcase, and we don't just mean knowledge.
Our vendors came prepared with free merch and giveaways at their booths, while GUS had plenty of our own gear available, including T-shirts, hats, pens, notebooks, calendars, and more.
Customers also had a chance to enter to win some seriously great prizes, including:

- Additional giveaways from participating vendors
And no GUS event would be complete without good food. Mi Cocina catered the showcase, giving everyone a chance to grab lunch, take a break, and spend some more time catching up with fellow contractors, vendors, and the GUS team.
The Best Part: Bringing the Industry Together
As exciting as the new products and giveaways were, the best part of the showcase was seeing so many of our customers in one place.
We had an awesome turnout from crews throughout the DFW area, and it's always great getting the opportunity to catch up with our customers and their teams outside of the usual day-to-day rush.
Utility construction is built around people who know how to get the job done. Events like our Utility Equipment Showcase give those people an opportunity to slow down for a few hours, talk shop, make connections, exchange ideas, and learn directly from the manufacturers developing the products they rely on.
