Condux Break-Away D.Drill Swivel, 1 ¼” - 1 ⅜”
The Condux 1 ¼” - 1 ⅜” Break-Away D.Drill Swivel is specifically designed to protect cable or conduit during directional drilling by preventing overstress. This swivel acts as both a swivel and a break link during product pull-back, eliminating the need for multiple components and shortening the gap between the reamer and pulling eye. With the Condux Break-Away Swivel, there’s no need for weak link pipe sections or wire.
Available in six different sizes, the swivels accommodate various pulling needs. Break loads range from 1,900 lbs. to 5,000 lbs., and are engineered to separate at 10% of the rated break load.
These swivels are ideal for directional drilling but may also be used in other applications where the swivel and pulling medium are isolated from personnel and any breaks remain contained, such as in a pipe or borehole.
