Preformed Line Products FIBERLIGN Limited Tension Dielectric Dead-End - .543” - .577” (PLP 2872006) - The FIBERLIGN Dielectric Dead-End series is engineered to securely and gently terminate ADSS aerial fiber optic cables. This two-part system includes appropriately sized Structural Reinforcing Rods (SRR) and a dead-end component that work together to transfer axial tensile loads and evenly distribute radial compressive forces across the cable’s plastic jacket and internal strength members—without causing damage to the jacket or optical fibers. To meet varying cable load demands, four dual-layer FIBERLIGN Dielectric Dead-End types are available: Limited, Medium, Semi-High, and High Tension.
Limited Tension Dead-End Features:
- Includes short structural reinforcing rods
- Used on most brands of ADSS cable that have low strengths and "standard" jackets
