The HW adjustable hydrant wrenches are available in forged steel or economical cast ductile iron (HWB) options, designed to fit pentagon nuts up to 1 3/4” and square nuts up to 1 1/4”. Both styles include spanners compatible with pin or lug-style hose couplings and are zinc-chromate plated for excellent corrosion resistance. The HWS45 wrench is a Storz® style tool, perfect for hydrants and 4” or 5” Storz® fittings. Featuring a durable ductile iron head and steel handle, the HWS45 is adjustable to accommodate standard pentagon and square operating nuts. Its spanner hook, integrated into the head casting, securely grips lugs on Storz fittings, delivering maximum leverage when turning.
