Avanti 202 Multigrout Cartridges (12 per box) (SS AVANTI 202) - AV-202 Multigrout by Avanti is a single-component, moisture-activated polyurethane injection resin made from an MDI/TDI blend. This versatile resin is designed to seal active water leaks in large cracks or joints in concrete and brick structures. When mixed at a 1:1 water-to-resin ratio, it forms a strong, impermeable bond; at a 10:1 ratio, it forms a flexible gel.
Packaging:
- Cartridge size: ~10.1 fl. oz. (300 ml)
- Sold as a case of 12 cartridges.
Common Uses:
- Seals large cracks or joints in concrete and brick
- Works with AV-215 Resin Rod™ or AV-219 Fibrotite™ (Oakum)
- Ideal for manhole sealing, pipe penetrations, and areas with high water flow
- Effective for moving cracks and joints
Key Features & Benefits:
- NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 certified by WQA for use in drinking water systems
- 100% solids formulation
- Expands 300–600% upon free rise
- Non-corrosive and flexible with strong adhesion
- Accepts up to 10x its volume in water
- Safe for underwater use
- Also available in a non-potable version (NTP)
- Compatible with several injection techniques: Expanded Gasket Placement (EGP), Needle Penetration (NPT), and Variable Pressure Application (V-PAT)
How It Works:
AV-202 reacts with moisture to form a flexible, durable seal through a three-step process. First, the resin finds water within the pores and adheres to the surface. Then it expands as it reacts, forming a compressive seal. Finally, the grout creates a mechanical lock within the cracks for lasting waterproofing. It can be injected as a single component without pre-mixing and is effective across a wide water-to-resin ratio range, from 1:1 up to 10:1.
RATIOS*
Preferred ratio is 1:1 (water to resin), however no pre-mixing is required. Pumped as a single component and is effective at ratios up to 12:1 with water.

PERFORMANCE
Flush equipment with AV-208 before and after use to remove moisture and clean equipment. For best results, use between 60 degrees Fahrenheit – 90 degrees Fahrenheit (16 degrees Celsius – 32 degrees Celsius). Performance will be influenced by site conditions. If site temperatures are low, use a heat source to warm to ~72 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees Celsius) and apply. Do not use open flame as a heat source.
CLEANING PRODUCTS
- AV-208 Acetone, Technical Grade (CAS No. 67-64-1) – removes moisture from equipment (see Performance section).
- AV-284 Pump Wash (Proprietary Blend) – removes uncured resin from pump and hose.
- AV-222 Cleaner (Proprietary Blend) – removes cured resin from equipment.
STORAGE
Store in temperatures within or near 60 degrees Fahrenheit – 100 degrees Fahrenheit (16 degrees Celsius – 38 degrees Celsius) in a dry atmosphere.
SAFETY
Always use OSHA-approved personal protective equipment (PPE). Refer to the MSDS for complete safety precautions. The MSDS is available by request.
