The SLACKLOOP Vertical Cable Storage System – Adjustable Spool is designed to neatly store slack ADSS cable on wood poles, concrete poles, and lattice towers while preserving the correct cable bend radius. This system features independent crossarms and spools that can be spaced at any distance on the structure to accommodate the desired cable storage length. Optional cable straps (not included) can be used to bundle cable loops neatly and secure the slack loops to spools or keepers as needed.
SLACKLOOP Vertical Cable Storage System Features:
- Various configurations can be created with standard crossarm and spool kits
- Short and long crossarm options are available
- Long crossarms allow spools to be attached at various positions at each end of the crossarm
- Mounting options available to accommodate most structures
- Accommodates cable manufacturer-suggested storage diameters
- Black urethane storage spools provide a soft, smooth surface to support and protect cable
- Steel components are galvanized or zinc plated to prevent corrosion
- Can be used with the COYOTE Defender for ballistic protection
- Short crossarm 2 ft loop creates 130 ft storage
- Long crossarm 5 ft loop creates 300 ft storage
