The Condux Winch Line Blower is an innovative tool designed to easily insert winch lines into underground conduit before cable pulling or conduit proving. This device eliminates the need to blow a string and pull back a rope by directly propelling winch lines. With compressed air (90 psi / 6.2 bar) and 100 cfm (2.8 cmm), the blower can push steel winch lines, ropes, or tapes through conduits ranging from 1 to 6 inches in diameter. The Condux Winch Line Blower is compatible with most types of existing steel cable winches used in underground utility cable installation.
The system is simple, with only three key components: the blower body assembly, missile, and control valve assembly, requiring no special tools. When paired with an air compressor, it can install a standard steel winch cable at an impressive speed of 100 feet per minute, significantly enhancing productivity. For optimal performance, ensure the conduit run is unobstructed, unoccupied, and airtight. This high-speed installation process can improve cable installation efficiency by up to 1000%.
