Capable of installing up to 300 feet of fiber optic cable per minute, the Gulfstream 400 achieves average installation distances of 6,500 feet. The cable moves at the same speed as the air, with air pressure and flow requirements varying based on duct and cable size. This blowing method reduces stress on the cable by balancing both pulling and pushing forces during installation.

Designed for fiber optic cables with diameters from 0.23" to 1.13", the Gulfstream 400 is compatible with innerduct sizes ranging from 0.98" OD to 2.35" OD. Proper seals, feed tubes, and venturi must be selected based on the specific cable being installed.
