GMP Tornado Plus Cable Blowing Machine (GMP 89099)
The GMP Tornado Plus Cable Blowing Machine (GMP 89099) is designed for safe, fast, and effective fiber optic cable installation into pre-installed innerduct or direct-buried innerduct. With an optional conversion kit, the Tornado can also install 12.7mm, 12/10mm, or 10/8mm micro ducts.
Constructed with an aluminum air box and cable pusher, the Tornado uses compressed air to propel cables through innerduct, with or without a missile. Its hydraulically powered belt drive system ensures precise cable control, while an electronic monitoring system tracks speed and distance, providing protection for the cable and an emergency stop button.
Mounted on a lightweight, tubular-steel frame, the machine can tilt at a 30-degree angle to the manhole, reducing cable and innerduct bending. The frame features retractable handles for easy maneuvering and adjustable rear legs for added stability on uneven surfaces. The unit is powered by a gasoline engine-driven hydraulic power pack, making it a versatile solution for cable installation.
