Jonard Ratcheting Duct and Cable Slitter (JN RCS-30)
The RCS-30 ratcheting cable slitter is designed for cutting heavy-duty cables with ease. Capable of slitting and ringing cables over 1” (25 mm) in diameter, it can also make window cuts in ducts up to 5 mm thick. This tool includes the following features:
- Ideal for slitting and ringing cables with PVC, PE, rubber, and other jacket materials
- Fixed jaws and ratcheting mechanism provide a secure grip for slitting heavy-duty cables
- Excellent for mid-span or end slitting and ringing of cables
- Ruler marked in 10, 20, and 30 mm increments for precise slitting lengths
- Steel blades, ground and heat-treated, ensure a razor-sharp edge for long-term durability
- Narrow, aggressive blade design allows for mid-span entry into ducts and making window cuts when necessary
- Replaceable double-ended blades with adjustable cutting depth (0 to 5 mm / 0” to 0.20”)
