The award-winning Jonard Tools FOD-2000 simplifies the process of slitting drop cable jackets, making it an essential tool for FTTH technicians working with flat fiber drop cables.
Key features:
- Designed for 0.250” flat drop cables, including Super Essex Communications Series 6U, 6T tonable, W7, W7 tonable, 6U 24F, and 6T 24F tonable cables.
- Compatible with flat cables measuring 0.305" to 0.350" wide and 0.155" to 0.185" high, such as Corning SST-Drop flat cables with a 0.03” to 0.04” jacket thickness.
- Simultaneously slits both sides of the jacket, providing quick access to fiber or strength members.
- Separates the jacket and strength members from the buffer tube without damaging the fiber.
- Includes two pre-assembled, reversible blades that can be flipped for extended use.

Designed for .250" flat drop cables. The FOD-2000 comes completely assembled with two blades, which can be reversed once the blades are worn. Replacement blades are also available under part number FOD-RB25 for a package of 25 blades.
