Avanti 254 Grout Gelseal (SS AVANTI 254) - AV-254 Gelseal is a single-component, moisture-activated prepolymer injection resin designed for soil permeation and stabilization. Once injected into the soil, it reacts with water to form a solid, impermeable barrier that effectively blocks water infiltration and reinforces the surrounding ground structure.
Applications:
- Seals water infiltration in manholes, storm vaults, tunnels, mines, and other underground structures by stabilizing the external substrate
- Improves ground conditions and slope stability to prevent erosion, landslides, or soil movement
- Used for permeation grouting of non-cohesive soils to enhance water control and soil strength

How It Works:
AV-254 is applied using a multi-component variable ratio pump with one container for AV-254 and one for water. At an 8:1 water-to-resin ratio, it forms a strong gel/soil matrix; at a 1:1 ratio, it creates a more resilient foam. Cured gel properties can be modified with optional additives.
Optional Additives:
- AV-105 Gel Guard – lowers the freezing point
- AV-257 Icoset – increases gel strength
- AV-203 Multicat – accelerates cream and gel time
