The patented and award-winning MS-426 tool is engineered for effortless access to optical fibers within Prysmian ESMF Optical Mini FlexTube cables and other thick-walled jackets ranging from 5.8 mm to 12 mm in diameter, including Corning equivalents. Expanding on the success of the MS-6 and MS-26 models, this tool integrates a ring-cutting function for enhanced versatility.
- Features 4 precision slitting grooves and 4 precision ring grooves for cables sized 5.8 mm to 12 mm
- Dual-function design: one side performs radial/ring cuts, while the other side executes longitudinal slits
- Lightweight, compact design (under 8 oz) with a tethering hole for easy handling in confined spaces
- Indicator line on top ensures precise blade positioning for accurate slitting and ringing
- Specifically designed for Prysmian ESMF Optical Mini FlexTube and similar cables, including Corning equivalents
- Compatible replacement blade set: MS-426RB, with blades lasting up to 5,000 cuts
